ECA has joined forces with EO Charging, one of the UK’s leading electric vehicle (EV) charging manufacturers.
In a move designed to maintain and strengthen our position of providing complete energy solutions (ecavirtuous), we felt it was imperative that electric vehicle chargers became part of our growing product offering. We’ve partnered with EO to ensure our existing and future customers have access to the best electric vehicle charging solution available on the market.
Suffolk-based EO designs and manufactures charging stations for homes, workplaces/fleets and destinations (i.e. hotels, restaurants, shopping centres etc). Founded in 2015, the company has manufactured 5,000 chargers to date and currently sells in 25 countries including UK, Norway, Australia & Thailand. The company has a national network of over 140 trained installation partners – all of whom are OLEV approved and EO trained.
EO Charging is currently working with Uber, Addison Lee, Google, Toyota Portugal, Hampshire Police and many others to support their electrification plans.
Charlie Jardine, Founder & CEO of EO Charging, said:
“We’re excited to partner with ECA and support their customers’ requirements for electric vehicle charging. EO might be small company today but we have big ambitions and want to become the number one electric vehicle charging manufacturer, for homes, workplaces and fleets, globally by 2025.”
“We’re currently witnessing a revolution in the automotive industry, one that’s akin to when the combustion engine took over from the horse and cart. EV chargers are more than ‘just a plug’ they’re the gateway to the future of mobility and the first piece of the puzzle in giving people energy autonomy.”
Steve Silverwood, Managing Director at ECA Group, said:
“There’s no doubt that electric vehicle charging will have a profound impact on every business and household in the UK. There are numerous benefits to companies that take action on EV charging now – including attracting and retaining key staff, visitor convenience, new income streams and compliance. We are delighted to announce that we have teamed up with EO to offer our customers the very best solutions available in the market today.”
